African Nightcrawler worms are excellent as live fishing bait. These worms are very lively and can be used to catch a myriad of fish ranging from trout to catfish, walleye, carp, yellow suckers, up to large bass and sturgeon.
The African Nightcrawler worms are very tough and long lived on the fishing hook. They prefer warmer weather and do NOT require refrigeration. Also, African Nightcrawlers like warmer temperatures, but do not do well in temperatures below 60 degrees F.
African Nightcrawler worms are raised indoors in our facility and are shipped to you fresh from our farm. They do NOT require refrigeration and can be kept on your shelf without worry for 2 to 3 weeks. These worms prefer 65 to 85 degree temperature and are very hearty and very active. Our worms range from 3-7 inches.

Instructions on hooking the Nightcrawler:
- Hook through the breeder band first then in one additional spot so they will not crawl off your hook.
- Store them out of direct sunlight at a temperature between 70 and 85 degrees.
These special “crawlers” will actually thrive at these warm temperatures. If you can resist the urge to “just keep these a little cool” and follow these specific instructions, you will be pleased with the performance of these lively worms.
